Luke Weaver took the loss on Monday in San Diego, allowing just two runs over six innings while striking out seven.

Weaver allowed four hits and no walks as the D’Backs fell to the Padres 2-1. Weaver pitched great but was simply out-matches by Chris Paddack. Weaver has still been excellent for fantasy this season, and he’ll carry a 3.14 ERA into his next outing versus the lowly Giants.
