Brendan McKay made his Grapefruit League debut on Friday against the Twins, striking out one over a scoreless inning of work.

McKay has been dealing with shoulder stiffness but he looked strong coming out of the bullpen on Friday. The 24-year-old might not have enough time to be ready for the Opening Day rotation, but Tampa Bay was always expected to limit his innings at times this year anyway. He'll be worth using in fantasy whenever he takes the mound. It is just tough to know how regularly that might be right now.
