The terms of the deal are unknown at this time, but the price tag for a high second-round pick is around $1.95 million. Dingler has legit power, above average speed and excellent plate skills. He also has a cannon for an arm. Dingler slashed .340/.404/.760 with five homers across 58 plate appearances this spring. Barring a position change, Dingler has the upside to be a potential All-Star at catcher in the near future.
