Drew Stubbs has been hitting well so far this spring and it continued on Wednesday against the San Diego Padres. Stubbs went 2-3 with a home run, 2 RBI, and 2 R. His home run came off of standout Padres starter Tyson Ross.
Fantasy Impact
Stubbs is now hitting .333 in the spring with a pair of homers and four RBI. Stubbs does not offer very much upside in the fantasy world but he can offer some mid-range power and a healthy amount of stolen bases. He could be a sneaky sleeper pick in the last couple of rounds this season now that he gets another year of playing at Coors Field.
