Anderson’s departure was precautionary and is day-to-day. He could be ready by Opening Day if the blister heals within in the next few days. Anderson is expected to be in the backend of the Brewers’ rotation. The 32-year-old owned a (13-9) record, 3.89 ERA, 1.31 WHIP and 90 strikeouts across 176 innings for the A’s in 2019.
