Phillies closer Hector Neris allowed a run on two hits and one walk while striking out two over an inning of work in Friday's win over the Mets. He blew the save in the top of the inning but came away with the win after the Phillies walked things off in the bottom of the inning.

The Phillies bullpen has been the worst in baseball through the first few weeks of the season, and Neris and his 8.31 ERA has been no exception. Despite his struggles, though, he does not appear to be in any danger of losing the ninth-inning job, because the team doesn't have any internal options to replace him.
