Nico Hoerner batted eighth and played third base in the second game of Saturday's doubleheader against the Cardinals, going 1-for-3 with a single. He scored the loan run in the Cubs' 5-1 defeat.
Fantasy Impact
Hoerner is slowly picking it up over the last two weeks, hitting .313 with a .395 on-base percentage. Buried in the bottom of the order, he hasn't made much of a fantasy impact this year aside from NL-only leagues.
