Eric Hosmer went 1-for-3 with a double, two RBI and a walk as the Padres defeated the Cardinals 4-0 in Game 3 of the Wild Card series to advance to the NLDS.

Hosmer got the Padres on the board in the fifth inning when he laced an opposite field double off of Jack Flaherty to score Fernando Tatis Jr. The first baseman drew a bases-loaded walk off Alex Reyes in the bottom of the seventh to pick up his second RBI.
