McCann reportedly is working with the Mets on a four-year deal. "A deal is not yet close, but it is looking increasingly likely he will land a four-year deal," Murray added. The 30-year-old is the second best catcher on the free agent market behind JT Realmuto. McCann slashed .289/.360/.536 with seven home runs, 15 RBI and 20 runs over 111 plate appearances for the White Sox in shortened a 2020 campaign.
