Mark Teixeira is coming off a 2014 season in which he hit just .216 for the season. He did produce 22 home runs, but the Yankees are going to need more than a .216 average and .313 OBP from him. Hopefully he is fully recovered from his wrist injury that has plagued him the past two seasons and can produce enough for the Yankees and his owners. Expectations must be tempered at this point however.
