Alcides Escobar was injured on a hard slide by the Athletics Brett Lawrie in the seventh inning of the Royals victory on Friday night. Lawrie seemed to go into second base with his cleats up, which led to Escobar being helped off the field by the Royals trainers. (espn.com)
