Kyle Wright was pressed into service when Drew Smyly (forearm) was placed on the IL Friday and pitched 4 1/3 innings against the Cubs, allowing three hits, two runs (both earned), and two walks while recording five strikeouts.

The alarming thing is he hit four batters, over 4 1/3. It would not be surprising if Bryse Wilson gets the next start to fill in for Smyly.
