Padres manager Jayce Tingler recently said it’s realistic” that catcher Austin Nola could return for the team’s upcoming series against the Diamondbacks. It appears Nola’s 2021 season debut will be delayed and he’ll most likely be activated ahead of this weekend's series against the Giants. Victor Caratini will continue to handle catching duties while Nola is sidelined.
