Stephen Drew had his first multi hit game of the season, finishing 2-for-4, and hit his fourth home run of the season. Drew is still only hitting .190, but has five extra base hits this season.
Fantasy Impact
If Drew is going to be unproductive with total hits, at least he is making it count with his extra base hits. A healthy projection would be for Drew to have 40 extra base hits at a minimum, probably closer to 45-50; that is enough for a roster spot, even with a batting average in the low-mid .200s. Drew gives flexibility to play 2B and SS if need be and is in a Yankees lineup that has hit well to open the season.
