RHP Zac Gallen took the loss on Saturday when he allowed four runs on six hits with a pair of walks and seven strikeouts across four-inning as the D-Backs lost to the Rockies 14-6.

Galen wasn't at his best on Saturday as the Rockies got to him early. Ryan McMahon singled in a run in the first inning and the Rockies would tack on three more runs in the fourth. Gallen did strike out seven for his efforts but his pitch count was up to 93 pitches at the end of the fourth inning. All in all, it was a disappointing start but he's got a chance to bounce back in his next turn against the Mets on the road.
