Greinke was great. He didn't have his best stuff as evidenced by the three walks and high pitch count, but he battled through all night. The second inning was huge as he was able to escape a bases-loaded jam with no outs unscathed. Greinke doesn't blow anyone away, but his precise control and way he changes speed allows him to dominate batters. Greinke will help in wins, quality starts, ERA, and WHIP. If he can strikeout over a batter-per-inning, a feat he's accomplished in three seasons, then Greinke will be a bona-fide ace.
