Brandon Morrow throws seven strong innings while allowing just one run on five hits in the Padres 3-1 victory over the Los Angeles Dodgers. Morrow continues to impress in the back end of the rotation. "I feel like I've been throwing the ball really well," Morrow said. Morrow's ERA drops some more, to 2.62. Four strikeouts may not be a dominant performance but allowing just one run on five hits does qualify as such. Morrow at the back end is a solid bet. Keep him active as long as he stays healthy for he will only get better as the months move on.
