McKenzie has had a rough year thus far, pitching to a 6.26 ERA and 1.51 WHIP, but he did not allow an earned run in his Triple-A start. The matchup against the Mariners is enticing but there's no reason to dig that deep at starter until McKenzie shows he is figuring things out.
