Charlie Montoyo said that Springer isn't coming back to be a DH, and will be activated only when he's ready to play the outfield. It's reportedly going to be a day-to-day thing, but given how much time Springer has missed, expect him to need a minimum of five rehab games or so to get his timing back. Absent a setback, he'll likely rejoin the Blue Jays sometime next week.
