Montas was roughed up for five runs in the first inning on RBI doubles by Adolis Garcia and Nate Lowe before Andy Ibanez capped off the scoring in the first inning with a three-run long ball. Montas was able to settle in for the most part after that, but he dug himself in too big of a hole to avoid taking the loss.
