Luis Patiño was torched for seven runs (five earned) on seven hits and one walk while striking out five over 5 1/3 innings on Friday in a loss to the Blue Jays.

After the start on Friday, Patino was optioned to Triple-A Durham according to Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times. The 21-year-old should be stashed in dynasty fantasy formats as he could have an impact for the Rays in the second half of the season.
