Lopez was slated to start against the Phillies on Sunday and had set a record in his mot recent start by striking out the first nine batters he faced. The severity of the injury and when he suffered it isn't known, but any injury involving a shoulder for a pitcher is worrisome. Plan to be without Lopez for at least a few weeks, but the Marlins should provide an updated timetable soon.
