Matt Moore will face live hitters on Sunday for the first time since getting Tommy John surgery. Barring any setbacks, Moore is hoping to rejoin the Rays starting rotation around mid-June. This is a good sign for the Rays that Moore is getting closer to making his debut. When healthy Moore has the potential to be a top of the rotation pitcher. In 2013 he went 17-4 with a 3.29 ERA and was forced out with injury after two starts in 2014.
