Luzardo was acquired from Oakland in exchange for Starling Marte prior to the trade deadline. The talented southpaw was having a disastrous 2021 campaign before the trade, registering a 6.87 ERA in 13 big league appearances. Things weren't going much better for him in Triple-A, either. Luzardo won't be a recommended fantasy option tonight, but the start is worth monitoring. The 23-year-old was considered one of the best pitching prospects in baseball at this time last year.
