Kikuchi served up a solo home run to Randy Arozarena on the first pitch he threw in the first inning. He was able to settle in nicely in the rest of his outing with the only other run he allowed being unearned after Jake Fraley picked up an error in left field after accidentally kicking the ball trying to pick it up.
