Zac Gallen dominant in no-decision on Saturday

Zac Gallen (SP - ARI)

RHP Zac Gallen took a no-decision on Saturday when he allowed just three hits and one walk to go along with nine strikeouts over seven scoreless innings as the Diamondbacks lost to the Rockies 5-2.

Fantasy Impact
Gallen was dominant in what was easily his best start of the season. He punched out a season-high nine batters and only allowed four base runners over his seven innings. He kept the Rockies off the scoreboard as well and was in line for the win until the Arizona bullpen blew the lead and the game. Gallen has been hard to trust on a start-by-start basis as consistency has been his biggest bugaboo but this was a stellar effort. He now owns a 4.59 ERA, 1.33 WHIP, and 96:35 K/BB ratio over 80 1/3 innings (16 starts). He'll get the Phillies on the road in his next turn.
