Eovaldi has been the rock of this Red Sox rotation here in 2021. He is undeniably important to the stability and success of this team. There are games where he does allow a lot of hits, but for the most part his strikeout numbers have been tremendous, he has been limiting his walks, and he quite literally just gets the job done every time he takes the hill. His 3.58 ERA is an indication of that.
