Mike Fiers was solid for the Brewers on Tuesday, throwing six and one-third innings against the White Sox. He allowed two earned runs on five hits while striking out seven and walking one batter.

It was a nice bounce-back for Fiers, who was able to stymie the home run ball from a White Sox offense known to put the ball over the fence.
