The Phillies fell to the Cincinnati Reds no Thursday, 6-4. Carlos Ruiz had a nice game at the plate, going 1-for-3 with a run scored. The hit was the first for Ruiz since May 30 against the Colorado Rockies.

Ruiz is batting .243 with a .307 on-base percentage. He's struggled in the power department, with just six doubles and no home runs in 136 at-bats. Expect much of the same from Ruiz from here on out, limiting his fantasy value.
