Well, we were wondering what was going to happen to San Diego's rotation when Blake Snell returns. Snell is slated to make his return Wednesday. With Joe Musgrove, Yu Darvish, Sean Manaea, Mike Clevinger, Nick Martinez and Gore pitching well lately, someone was going to lose their starting spot. That appears to be the youngster. He has been outstanding for the Padres and knowing that Snell is far from a lock to pitch well, he could find himself back in the rotation at some point. Until then, he's likely to be one of the better long men in baseball.
