Cleveland Guardians left-hander Kirk McCarty allowed five runs (four earned) over four innings in a 6-3 loss to the Rangers in Game 2 of a doubleheader on Tuesday.
Fantasy Impact:
McCarty struck out two in the first start of his big-league career. He gave up three homers in the outing, including a two-run shot. McCarty was on the mound in a spot-start capacity and is likely headed back to Triple-A Columbus.
