Jimenez has spent most of 2022 as the as the closer for the A’s. In 26 games, he is 2-4, with a 4.38 ERA, 11 saves, and a 8.39 K/9. A strained right shoulder is never good news for a pitcher. Fantasy managers will want to look for updates and if Jimenez begins throwing in enough time to possibly come off the IL after the 15 required days. He should still be rostered as he figures to be awarded save opportunities out of the A’s bullpen going forward.
