Espinal has been a nice surprise for the Blue Jays this season and was recently named an AL All-Star finalist, finishing with the second most votes for a second-baseman. He is hitting a superb .400 (8-for-20) over his last five games and has five RBI over that span. Although his season-long average was better last season (.311), he is hitting home runs and RBIs at a much better clip this season. Over 76 games he is hitting .271/.323/.405 with six home runs and 37 RBI.
