Zach Thompson allowed three earned on eight hits and three walks while striking out five across five innings during Sunday's 9-5 loss to the Reds.

All three of the runs allowed by Thompson came via the homer, as the 28-year-old was handed his tenth loss of the year. He owns a 5.51 ERA going into his next start that will likely take place in Philadelphia.
