The deal also contains a team option for the 2026 campaign. After taking over for the outgoing Charlie Montoyo on July 13, Schneider steered the Jays to a 46-28 record before the team bowed out to the Seattle Mariners in the AL Wild Card round. The 42-year-old will once again oversee a loaded Blue Jays roster that should remain a World Series contender again next season.
