Fantasy Impact
Abreu is reportedly a "top priority" for the Padres this offseason, as the team is seeking additional power for the middle of the lineup. Despite a sharp decline in his home-run rate in 2022, Abreu still hit north of .300 with an .824 OPS and 40 doubles across 679 plate appearances for the White Sox. The three-time All-Star will turn 36 in January, and the win-now Padres seem like a good fit.
