In his last 10 at bats, he has had one hit, a homerun. It seems like he does not hit often, but when he does, it is a home run. This season he has not hit for average, but is second in the majors at his position in home runs behind Brian Dozier with 12, even with a .179 average. If the Yankees are going to make a serious run for and in the playoffs, they might have to fix their situation at second base. That fix might be made internally with Robert Refsnyder improving his hitting at the Triple-A level.
