Miami Marlins pitcher Jesús Luzardo has won his arbitration hearing with the club. (Mark Feisand on Twitter)
Luzardo will take home a $2.45 million salary in 2023 rather than the $2.1 million amount filed by the team. The former A's top prospect excelled in his first full season with the Marlins in 2022, turning a 3.32 ERA/3.12 FIP alongside a healthy 30% K% across 18 starts. The 25-year-old should settle into the second or third rotation spot for the Fish in 2023 and is an attractive fantasy option following his breakout season.
