Anthony Volpe invited to MLB spring training

Volpe, MLB Pipeline's fifth-ranked prospect, split the 2022 season between the Double-A and Triple-A levels. He hit 18 home runs with 44 stolen bases across 110 games at Double-A before scuffling to a .236 average with three homers and six steals in 22 games at Triple-A. Still just 21, Volpe's first MLB spring training might be his last before getting a real shot at cracking the Opening Day roster.
