Detroit Tigers infielder Ryan Kreidler collected an RBI single Thursday versus the Baltimore Orioles.

Kreidler, 25, is one of many players in Tigers camp competing for reps at third base this season. The single raised his spring average to just .222 in the early going. After posting a .763 OPS in 56 Triple-A games last season, Kreidler struggled to a .477 mark in a 26-game audition with the Tigers down the stretch. He has a solid power/speed track record in the minors and should at least get some looks at the hot corner with the Tigers in 2023.
