Rosenthal actually briefly pitched for the Tigers in the 2019 season before exploding in 2020 to the tune of a 1.90 ERA and 41.8% K% across 23 2/3 innings between the Royals and Padres, saving 11 games in the process. Thoracic Outlet Syndrome has been a major hurdle to climb in his return to action as the Tigers take a low-risk flyer on the right-hander.
