Chasen Shreve to open season with Tigers

The Detroit Tigers have informed reliever Chasen Shreve he has made the Opening Day roster. (Cody Stavenhagen on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Shreve was brought aboard on a minor-league pact this winter and pitched his way onto the team thanks to a 2.25 ERA and 10 strikeouts across eight appearances in Grapefruit League action. Shreve struggled to a 6.39 ERA in 25 appearances with the Mets last season, but posted a 3.20 mark in 57 outings with the Pirates in 2021 and owns a 3.87 ERA in 317 big-league appearances. The left-hander now becomes a part of a new-look Tigers bullpen in 2023.
