JP Sears allowed five walks and two hits over just 4.2 innings, leading to one earned run and a no-decision in Oakland's 5-4 loss to Pittsburgh on Monday.
Fantasy Impact:
Sears struck out six batters but his lack of control was his downfall as he threw 112 pitches and struggled to find the strike zone. It was an uncharacteristic night considering his 6.1% BB% on the season (after the start) while his 4.38 SIERA is right in line with his 4.20 ERA on the season.
