Fernando Rodney pitched the ninth inning for the Mariners with the team trailing 8-2. He did not allow a base-runner and struck out one batter in his one inning of work.
Fantasy Impact
Rodney, who has had an awful 2015 campaign owning an ERA close to six, has not allowed a hit in his last two outings. It is doubtful he will be turning his season around, but if you are a Rodney owner it is nice to see decent production from the former closer. Unless Carson Smith loses the closer role for the Mariners, Rodney possesses little fantasy value.
