Marksberry came in the fifth inning for a struggling Williams Perez and pitched one and 2/3 scoreless innings in his major league debut. The rookie allowed two hits and one walk.
Fantasy Impact
With the Braves trading away some of their bullpen assets before the trade deadline, Marksberry will look to get some work in the next couple of weeks to see if he'll stick in the big leagues. His first outing was encouraging, albeit against the lowly Phillies. He is not fantasy relevant yet.
