Michael Lorenzen headed from Tigers to Phillies

The Philadelphia Phillies are reportedly acquiring right-hander Michael Lorenzen from the Detroit Tigers. (Jon Morosi on Twitter)

It has been reported that infield prospect Hao-Yu Lee could be part of the return for the veteran right-hander. A free agent after the 2023 season, Lorezen has impressed to a 3.58 ERA across 18 starts with the Tigers this season while his 6.5% walk rate would be his best mark since 2016 if the season ended today.
