Clevinger joins a group of veterans that were placed on waivers around the league Tuesday. The 32-year-old starter should generate a lot of interest considering he could bolster a rotation ahead of the playoffs. Clevinger has a 3.32 ERA, 1.23 WHIP, and 85 strikeouts in 97 2/3 innings pitched this season.
