The pact includes an invite to MLB spring training and will pay the right-hander $900K while in the majors. Gsellman has pitched in Japan for the last season and a half and owns a career 4.60 ERA across 184 big-league outings, all but eight of which have come with the New York Mets while he briefly appeared with the Cubs in the 2022 season before heading overseas.
