Taylor Trammell has been diagnosed with a right calf strain after suffering the injury while running the bases Friday, Brian McTaggart of MLB.com reports.

The Astros have yet to provide a timeline for Trammell’s recovery, but the injury puts his chances of securing a roster spot in jeopardy. Trammell was already facing an uphill battle for playing time in a crowded Houston outfield, and missing time in camp could hurt his bid. He remains off the fantasy radar outside of deep leagues for now.
