Carlos Carrasco allowed no earned runs on three hits and two walks while striking out two over five innings in Friday's defeat to the Blue Jays.

After today’s performance, Carrasco holds a 5.26 ERA and 1.36 WHIP with a 2-1 record across five starts this season. It goes down as Carrasco's best start of the season but he was unable to secure the win after the New York bullpen coughed up four runs after he departed.
